The Board of Trustees

The Board is the principal governing body of the Library, a not-for-profit corporation. Trustees are volunteers from Woodstock and surrounding towns. We welcome individuals with experience in the nonprofit, education, philanthropy, museum or business sector to serve on the Board. Trustees meet monthly as well as work on various committee projects.

The Board of Trustees meets monthly on the 4th Monday at 5 pm with the exception of July and December. The public is welcome. Monthly Trustee meeting announcements and any schedule changes are posted on our Events Calendar.

Strategic Plan 2024-2027

The Strategic Plan is intended to set a clear direction for the library over the course of the next several years. Defining priorities and identifying specific actions enables the Library Board and staff to align their resources in a way that maximizes the benefits to the community in line with the library’s stated mission, vision, and values.
