Children’s Library Cards and Use
All staff and students throughout the Mountain Views Supervisory Union are eligible for a free library card, as are all residents of Woodstock and Bridgewater.
Non-resident families may purchase a membership for $70 per year (for the whole family). Note: Membership rate may be reduced depending on need, please see staff for details.
Per library policy, children age 10 and younger need to be supervised at all times by an adult or responsible adolescent who is at least 14 years old. A child is considered unattended when out of sight of a parent or caregiver.
Under current VT law, parents and guardians of children over 12 years of age do not have access to what books their children have checked out at a library. Library collections and internet access are available to all, without restriction.
