ADA Compliant Front Door
The library is currently working to update our front entrance to ensure it complies with ADA regulations. Because of the glass wall, this is a challenging – and expensive – project. Our goal is to install sliding glass doors with either push buttons or an electric eye opener. (Approximate cost: $30,000.)
Privacy Pod
A “TalkBox” Double Booth privacy pod would enable the library to offer an additional space to hold remote meetings, including telehealth appointments. At this time, we have only one space with a door to reserve for private meetings and it is in high demand. (Approximate cost: $14,000.)
