VABVI | Information Table & Presentation
12:00PM - 3:00PM
Dan and Debbie Norris, representatives from the Vermont Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (VABVI), will set up an informational table at noon and give a brief presentation at 2 pm.
They will share information on high- and low-tech ways to deal with vision loss. How can you access print, continue to pursue preferred crafts/hobbies, adapt your activities of daily living, and more? They will help you troubleshoot adaptations and identify resources to continue achieving your goals and dreams.
The VABVI celebrates its 100th anniversary this year! Founded in 1926 with the help of Helen Keller, VABVI provides support services throughout Vermont to help Vermonters who are blind or visually impaired cultivate adaptive skills, live more independently, and improve their quality of life.
Join us to learn about the tools, guides, and support materials for individuals, families, and service professionals.
