Travel, guests, and gardens are keeping the Mahjong players busy this summer. Our weekly Mahjong games on Friday afternoons at 1 pm will resume right after Labor Day, on September 11.*

To welcome players of all skill levels, we set up at least two tables: one for experienced players and a second for those newer to the game. Please consider bringing a Mahjong set if you have one.

Mahjong is a tile-based game of skill, strategy, and luck that developed in China in the 19th century. Since the early 20th century, variations have spread around the world. The group at the library plays American Mahjong.
