Call to Artists: “Love Your Library” Exhibit

The Mezzanine Art Gallery at the Norman Williams Public Library (NWPL) invites area artists to participate in “Love Your Library,” a group show celebrating the beauty of our library. The exhibit will run January 3 – February 15, 2019, to coincide with the Friends of the Norman Williams Public Library’s day of activities and “National Love Your Library” month. At many libraries around the country, February is dedicated to the people who love the buildings devoted to the reading, housing, organizing, categorizing, finding, studying and otherwise loving books.

Your “Portraits” of the library can be of the exterior or interior, in any medium that can be hung on a wall. Artists may submit two pieces, each no larger than 16-by-20 inches. If space allows we’ll exhibit both (but in case we can’t, please indicate your priority piece). Bring your ready-to-hang work and the $5 entrance fee to the library on January 2 or 3, 2019.
