Beginning on Monday, February 27, we will begin using our new cataloging system, Koha. Please be patient with us as we are learning the new system along with our patrons. The new system will allow for new patron email notifications, better search capabilities and patron-initiated holds on any item among the 15 area libraries that are members of the Catamount consortium. Also we will be instituting a “conscience jar” for any fines assessed by the new system on a provisional basis. We will review how the new fine system is working out in a few months to see if it can be kept in place or we will go back to the regular way of collecting fines.
