Library staff, trustees, patrons, and the whole town is making sure the director of the library gets a warm “Woodstock style” welcome. Amanda Merk, the library’s new executive director, arrived on July 10, and she is already well on her way to meeting everyone in Woodstock!
Trustees and staff got to know Amanda better at a cocktail reception at the home of Anne Debevoise, library trustee. Amanda also attended “Lobsters on the Green” last weekend where she got a chance to meet many members of the community and see how much fun Woodstockers like to have.
