Owl Camera & Mic

Hybrid Program Options

Norman Williams Public Library is gearing up for a busy season of workshops, games, events,
and book discussions. We invite you to join us in person, online, or both!

During the worst of the pandemic, we were “zoomed out” when that was the only way to talk face-to-face. Last spring, we thought we would transition most events back to in-person gatherings. We are happy to see your faces again – even if masked – in the library.

But we have come to appreciate the advantages of online technology. We can join a book
discussion group when out of town, attend a poetry evening if night driving is a challenge, or cut
travel time, to name a few.

To accommodate as many in our community as possible, the library now offers programs in a variety of formats:

  • In person – in the library with space to distance
  • Online – via Zoom or Zoom webinar
  • Hybrid – a combination of in person at the library and via Zoom (using an Owl camera thanks to generous funding by the Friends of NWPL).

Please contact programs@normanwilliams.org with questions or for the link to join online and hybrid groups.
