Zentangle Workshop with Jenny Dembinski

January 5, 2022 @ 1:00 pm3:00 pm

Take your Doodles to the next level while getting in touch with your Zen. Zentangle is great for everyone, children (12+) and adults, even if you don’t draw!
We will use 3.5-inch-square art paper and micron pens and pencils to create several different repetitive patterns or “tangles.” Nothing is planned and there are no mistakes. The only requirement is to bring an intention of gratitude and appreciation of our drawing practice. We plan to have some free supplies for pickup at the Norman Williams Public Library.

Jenny Dembinski has lived in Woodstock for more than twenty years. She has been a lover of art and has enjoyed practicing art her entire life. She first ran across Zentangle in a stationary store 12 years ago and only recently found the time to learn about it and practice doing it during the lockdown early in the pandemic.

To close out this series of Zentangle workshops, we offer participants a choice of setting! Recognizing that some are not comfortable or able to meet at the library, the final online class – via zoom – will be held on April 20. For those who would like to draw in person, we invite you to the mezzanine for the in-person program on April 27th.

Please email programs@normanwilliams.org with your preference of date and we’ll send information and the link.
