Environmental Humanities 101: Critical Studies for Feverish Times – VHC Snapshot

May 22 @ 4:00 am5:30 am

Save the date!

NWPL is thrilled to be partnering with the Vermont Humanities Council to host one of their Snapshot events, a series of free talks held at public libraries around Vermont from September through May.

We hope you will join us in person or virtually for “Environmental Humanities 101: Critical Studies for Feverish Times.”

Adrian Ivakhiv, founder of EcoCultureLab, introduces the rapidly growing field of Environmental Humanities designed to address ecological crisis, climate crisis, global inequality, polarization, future pandemics, and more. Ivakhiv will focus on what it means to live at this present moment, a moment problematically called “the Anthropocene.”

Details about reserving a seat or joining online will be posted soon. For more information, please email programs@normanwilliams.org.
