These five poets met at a poetry workshop at the Writer’s Center in White River Junction, Vermont. They have been writing together for close to fifteen years. Their group name comes from their first book, Perhaps It Was the Pie, written in collaboration with Marjorie Nelson Matthews, and published in 2014.
