I have been painting for eight years, but have had the desire my entire life.  Teaching and school administration kept me too busy to start.  But three weeks after retirement, Finnie Trimpi,  a former student at Artistree,  signed me up for my first class.

I have been so blessed to work with Kathryn Fisk, Katie Runde , Fiona Davis, and especially instructor extraordinaire, Rae Newell.

Having been a science teacher, I love the natural world.  I hope I have captured its beauty in my paintings.  I have a lot to learn about color, and look forward to years of learning more.

I hope you enjoy my love of color, and the calm and quiet that beautiful colors bring to our lives.
