Due to the carpet installation, programs held in the Library are suspended through Saturday, September 17. We plan to be back to our regular schedule on Monday, September 19. During this time, the building will be open for patrons though some areas may be off limits. The Children’s Room will be open.
The library will be closed on Christmas Eve, Saturday, December 24, through Boxing Day, Monday, December 26.

The library will be closed Monday, January 16, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
NWPL will be closed on Monday, February 20 in observance of Presidents’ Day. Originally set to celebrate George Washington’s birthday, the holiday was moved to the third Monday in February in 1968 to create a three-day weekend. Since Abraham Lincoln’s birthday also falls in February, the holiday is known as Presidents’ Day.
Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States for mourning the U.S. military personnel who have died while serving in the United States armed forces.
The Norman Williams Public Library will be closed on Monday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth, commemorating the end of slavery in the United States.
