Gather on the Mezzanine for an evening with friends and neighbors. Everyone is invited to recite a poem or two, read a short prose piece, sing a song, play an instrument – maybe even the library’s grand piano… Or simply sit back, relax, and enjoy.
The atmosphere is casual and supportive. We’ll set up the lectern and mic. You are welcome to bring a snack to share and something to drink if you wish.
This new, in-person event is an expansion of NWPL’s Recite! Poetry program and one of our “Library After Hours” offerings.
Free and open to all! Registration is appreciated, but not required. Please email Programs@NormanWilliams.org with questions.
