Surrounded by cobwebs and creepy noises coming out of the dark corners, you might encounter a lonely witch or hairy goblin waiting for you on Sunday afternoon at the library. Enter the old, haunted great hall, and find your way through the spooky stacks. Be careful, there may be a ghost or two! Then it’s down, down to the dungeon…
… where you will discover the Halloween Party in the Children’s Room!
Games, activities, and seasonal snacks. Costumes are encouraged.
The SBOOKY LIBRARY event is free and open to all. Children under 11 must be accompanied by a caregiver 14 or older for everyone’s peace of mind. Please join us for these not-too-scary tricks and lots of treats – fun for the younger set and the less intrepid among us.
Weather permitting, we’ll set up carve-your-own jack-o-lantern tables in the Side Garden. We’ll supply the tools, you bring a pumpkin. (This activity will end at 4:30 to give us time for clean-up.)
