SeaSpring: An Exploration Underwater and In the Garden is the new exhibit of paintings by Pati Braun Grandy in the Mezzanine Gallery (March 1 – April 30). Please join us for a reception; meet the artist and learn about her work.
Bio: Pati Braun Grandy was raised and lives in Randolph, Vermont. Her love for art started at a young age with encouragement from her parents and a close neighbor. Pati’s only formal training was a semester at Butera School of Art in Boston; the rest she learned by trying new things.
Pati put her art aside for years, raising a family and eventually going back to school to earn a Certificate in Paralegal Studies and an Associates Degree in Landscape Design and Ornamental Horticulture. She pursued a horticulture degree in hopes of illustrating plant books, so she is thrilled to include flower paintings in this show. Pati enjoys working in many mediums including, acrylic, pencil, pen and ink, watercolors, and photography. She has shown around Vermont and has pieces in private collections as far away as Hawaii.
