John Flynn – 4-time Boomerang Team World Champion and 13-time Event World Record Holder – will talk about his new book, 50 Important Boomerangs: Pictures and Essays Celebrating the Modern Boomerang’s Evolution.

When we hear the word “boomerang,” we form a picture in our mind of a widely spread V that when tossed will return to hand. The story behind the boomerang is a lot more complicated than its simple shape might imply.

John Flynn has spent the better part of four decades tracking the history, evolution, and science behind the boomerang and documented his findings in this new book. Join us to learn about phenomenal and fascinating boomerangs used for hunting, sport, and entertainment.
