Ready for an evening of fun? Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and lots of laughs at Game Night! We’ll be set up from 7-9 pm on Thursday, March 13. Come early – anytime after 6 – to explore the different games.
For this first of what we hope to become a regular Library After Hours gathering, we have chosen a few interactive games and a couple games of strategy and chance. No experience with any of the games is necessary. We’ll review the objectives, do a quick practice run, and then play! So far we plan to set up:
Chronology – place an event on the historic timeline correctly
Absurdable – convince the judge that your story is the best
Anomia – quickly come up with a word
Pictionary – with Adrian’s rapid draw rules!
Yamslam – chance, risk, and strategy with dice
Cribbage – chance, risk, and strategy with cards
Set – card game of visual logic
This event is BYOB, so feel free to bring your own drinks (including beer and wine); the library will supply snacks. Come by when you can, but remember, we’ll be going over the rules at the beginning of the evening.
Please email Programs@NormanWilliams.org with questions or ideas of other games to add.
