The Norman Williams Public Library, the Thompson Senior Center, and the Ottauquechee Health Foundation are collaborating on an “Age Well Education Series” to help us learn about preparing for the end of life.
Join community doula, Francesca Lynn Arnoldy, for an introduction to “Death Journaling,” the inspiration behind her new book, The Death Doula’s Guide to Living Fully and Dying Prepared. During this workshop, participants will feel gently invited to reflect back, turn inward, and plan ahead with intention and insight, focusing on introspection as well as extending care to others.

Francesca Lynn Arnoldy is a community doula and death literacy advocate. She authored Cultivating the Doula Heart: Essentials of Compassionate Care (a guidebook) and Map of Memory Lane (a picture book) as well as the interactive workbook, The Death Doula’s Guide to Living Fully and Dying Prepared (New Harbinger Publications). Francesca is a researcher with the Vermont Conversation Lab and she was the original course developer of the University of Vermont’s End-of-Life Doula Professional Certificate Programs. A trusted thought-leader, Francesca has been featured in The New York Times, Fast Company, Newsweek, The Verge, and AARP. She regularly presents on life-and-death topics with hopes of encouraging people to support one another through times of intensity.
