Family Movie Night: “Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace”

In “Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace” the epic story of the boy who would become Darth Vader begins. His journey kicks off when he crosses paths with two Jedi Knights, Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi, who join forces with him against the evil Trade Federation and the awakening of the Sith. Chronologically this first film of the “Skywalker Saga” is set three decades before the original trilogy, during the era of the Galactic Republic.

This movie, directed by George Lucas, stars Liam Neeson, Ewan McGregor, Natalie Portman, Jake Lloyd, Ahmed Best, Ian McDiarmid, Anthony Daniels, Kenny Baker, Pernilla August, and Frank Oz.

Rated PG (Parental Guidance Suggested). Children 12 and under must be accompanied at all times by an adult.

Movie run time is 2 hrs 15 min; everyone must be picked up by 10:30.
