Family Movie Night: “Beauty and the Beast” – On the Big Screen!

Gather the family and friends and join us on Friday evening for the live-action and animated Disney film, Beauty and the Beast.
In this lively take on a traditional tale, a spoiled and arrogant prince is transformed into a monstrous, talking beast. Only by learning to truly love and be loved in return can he earn back his humanity. He is rescued by a bright, beautiful, and independent young woman who he initially takes prisoner. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast’s hideous exterior and realize the kind heart and soul of the true Prince within.

Starring Emma Watson and Dan Stevens, the movie was directed by Bill Condon. It received several accolades, including nominations for Best Production Design and Best Costume Design at the 90th Academy Awards. This 2017 remake of Disney’s animated classic stays true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs.
