What’s fun in the sun and cool in the shade?
NWPL Summer Book Bingo! Stop by, pick up your Bingo card, and start reading…
Audiobooks, print books, ebooks – they all count! Listen while driving to the beach, curl up in the hammock with a long classic, or download a dozen ebooks onto your device for easy traveling.
Track your reading in the grid on the back of the card. Earn free spaces by answering the questions posed in the yellow blocks.
Mark off only one square per title – even though the book might fit several descriptions. For example, a mystery set in Ireland in 1950 is either a who-done-it OR a book set in a land you wish to visit OR historical, you must choose.
Complete a Bingo line – vertical, horizontal, or diagonal – and bring or mail your card back to the library to be entered in the drawings for several exciting prizes.
Drawings will be held at the library on Saturday, September 9 at 11 am. (This event was moved from 9/2 to give you a few days after Labor Day to drop off your card.) Join us for the fun and refreshments!
NEED HELP CHOOSING A BOOK?
The librarians at NWPL are here to help! We brainstormed a list of books for a few Bingo categories and are happy to share our ideas. We’ll get them posted here on our website shortly. Of course, we are more than happy to help you in person.
NOTE: Our Bingo cards are printed on heavy stock but you may download and print one at home if you wish.
