Join us to hear New York Times bestselling author, Ben Mezrich, talk about his new book The Mistress and the Key, a thrilling sequel to The Midnight Ride!

Benjamin Franklin’s mysterious connection to Paul Revere and a cabal of powerful alchemists has been lost to history – until now.

Card shark and MIT grad student Hailey Gordon and ex-con Nick Patterson – fresh off uncovering one of the biggest secrets of the Revolutionary War alongside American history professor Adrian Jensen – find themselves in Philadelphia, immersed in the history of Benjamin Franklin, Paul Revere, and the Tomb of the Unknown Revolutionary Soldier. The more they discover, the more shocking the implications become.

The Midnight Ride grew out of a serial novella published in the Boston Globe during the pandemic, The Mechanic. In it, Mezrich tells the story of the connection between the Gardner Museum heist and a secret of American history concerning Paul Revere.

Ben Mezrich has written more than twenty books – fiction and non-fiction – including Bringing Down the House: The Inside Story of Six M.I.T. Students Who Took Vegas for Millions and The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding of Facebook, a Tale of Sex, Money, Genius and Betrayal.

Free and open to all! First come, first seated; space is limited.

Co-hosted by Yankee Bookshop who will have books available for purchase and signing.
