This year’s national summer reading theme, “All Together Now”, celebrates reading and its power to allow us all access to the same variety of ideas, expressions of creativity, and perspectives waiting to be explored within the pages of books. With reading challenges and programming, participating could mean earning fun prizes, learning new things, enjoying live entertainment, and getting lost in a great book. No matter what one’s background, interests, struggles or strengths may be; reading is available to us all on one level or another. Let’s make it a point of connection that brings us All Together Now.
The program runs Monday June 19th – Saturday July 29th and, as always, the program is free and all are welcome.
Come by the children’s library to learn more, sign up, and pick up a reading-tracker sheet and stickers to get started!!
