Do you like to read about cooking, experiment with recipes, share stories about food with others, and eat good food? If so, we invite you to help us launch “Read, Cook, Eat!”
To start, we plan to meet once a month – in September, October, and November. If this intrigues you, please fill out this brief SURVEY to let us know your interests and the best times for you to meet. We’re excited to launch this new cookbook discussion group and appreciate your input.
For the first gathering, we will choose recipes from Sustainable Kitchen: Recipes and Inspiration for Plant-Based, Planet-Conscious Meals by Heather Wolfe & Jaynie McCloskey. Heather lives locally and has expressed an interest in joining us.
We will hold a copy of the cookbook at the circulation desk for you to browse and pick out recipes you might wish to try. We’ll copy them at no charge (or you can take a photo with your phone). A second copy of the cookbook will be available for a 3-day loan during the month leading up to the meeting.
Then, we’ll gather at the library and share our creations and discuss the cookbook!
We hope you will join us in this culinary exploration. There are so many wonderful cookbooks filled with amazing stories and delicious recipes.
