On behalf of the Trustees, Corporators, staff, and volunteers, I would like to thank Boris Pilsmaker and The Mountain Creamery for the generous contribution to the NWPL Ice Cream Social held on Alumni Day. This event has quickly become a tradition around the Alumni Parade and proceeds from this year’s event set a new record. Money raised at this event supports our operating funds, which are used to buy books, sustain the library infrastructure and provide services to the community.
Over sixty percent of the library’s finances come from businesses and individuals in our community. Without this support, we would be unable to continue to provide such a wide array of services. Through the generosity of our sponsors we will create not only a library for stimulating reading, but also a place to broaden intellectual pursuits and inspire creativity. Thank you to Boris Pilsmaker and the Mountain Creamery for their generosity and continued commitment.
