Saturday Chess for Kids!

Hey, Kids, there’s a new chess player in town!

Joyce Yoo Babbitt is the new librarian at Woodstock Elementary and the Prosper Valley Schools and is looking forward to meeting the families in town. She has offered to be at NWPL most Saturdays from 1-2 pm through August to play and give some pointers. Grab a friend and stop by – the library is air conditioned.

Joyce Yoo Babbitt loves spending time with her family, reading books, paddle boarding, swimming and playing pickleball. She also enjoys sharing good stories, finding great digital resources, and supporting students in their research.
