Solo Canoe Trip Down the Connecticut River

February 13 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Free

Join Jean Gerber for a slide presentation of her two week solo canoe trip down the Connecticut River from Thetford, Vermont, to Old Saybrook, Connecticut.  Included will be preparation, gear, portaging logistics, and camping.

The beauty of the river and ease of travel make it a delightful trip.  If you ever thought about paddling part or all of the river this presentation might help to encourage you.

Journeying Series

Pilgrimage . . . trek . . . voyage . . . expedition . . . wandering. . . . passage . . . crossing . . .
Journeys can be significant experiences.

NWPL’s Journeying Series gives people a chance to share their stories and allow others to contemplate . . . and maybe finally plan . . . a journey of their own.
