Lynda Knisley’s years as an Art Educator to learners of every age have resulted in a definition of art-making that is flexible and broad. The intersection of unconventional materials and her responses to Vermont barns and vintage protraits yield “reminders of people and places we know, if only by imagination where clock time cannot intrude.”

We find fewer noble barn structures in our landscape and fewer vintage fashion statements packed in attic trunks. To honor them, fragments of text, rusty oddments, and “found materials” make each assemblage unique in availability and style.

Lynda shows watercolors, collages, and pastels in solo and group exhibits all over Vermont. If Memory Serves brings a sense of nostalgia to Autumn this year.

If Memory Serves exhibit will run through November 13. There will be no artist reception for this show.
