NWPL encourages Youth Voices

The Norman Williams Public Library and the Vermont Standard have teamed up to form Youth Voices to provide an opportunity for local area youth to have a voice and to be heard by the community through print, video, online text, and photos through publication in the Vermont Standard newspaper.

We want to honor youth voices in new ways, to affirm and support them as they give witness to their thoughts. Typically creative work is forwarded from teachers at the public and private area schools to Kat Fulcher and published in the print and online editions of the Vermont Standard.

Creative work includes stories, poetry, book reviews, art work, photography, cartoons or video.

For more information contact Kat Fulcher at The Vermont Standard, 802-457-1313,  or Jennifer Belton, 802 432-1020 at the Norman Williams Public Library.
