Brooke Herter James, author of Why Did the Farmer Cross the Road?, will be reading her book and talking about how the story came to be, on Friday, July 28 at 11 AM on the Mezzanine. It all started one summer afternoon when her donkey quite unexpectedly showed up on the kitchen stoop! Ms. James is the only presenter during the upcoming Bookstock Festival whose work is specifically written for children. We hope you can join us!
